Current legislation regarding follow-up, reporting and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases

Abstract

This summary provides an overview on current laws and regulations related to STD control, screening and reporting in the Czech Republic. One part is dedicated to prostitution and organization of venerologic services.

It focuses on diseases with a significant social impact, such as HIV/AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhoea and chlamydial infections. These diseases negatively affect fertility and reproduction health and therefore influence demographic development
