This paper examines the issue of augmented reality and aspects of its application in education. The main objective of this paper is to present selected results of theoretical study of augmented reality, especially one of the outcomes of this study in the form of summary of categorization aspects of systems of augmented reality in the context of the application of these systems in the field of education.
It focuses on definition to other technologies or technological concepts and on identification of the technological-functional properties and specifics of augmented reality systems.
