Between Regionalism and Cosmopolitism - Prague Zionist Weekly Selbstwehr

Abstract

The weekly Selbstwehr (1907-1938) was amongst some of the most influential Jewish periodicals of the time. In the first part of the paper the Selbstwehr was introduced (material and content describtion, its position within the judaism of the Czech lands).

The second part was devoted to the beginnings of this weekly publication with a stress on its content.
