Spatial concentration of ethnic minorities is considered as one of the important aspects of integration processes of ethnic minorities in the host population. The article seeks to summarize existing factors of spatial concentration of ethnic minorities based on own research as well as review of various studies and research concerning spatial distribution and concentration of ethnic minorities in host societies at the national, regional as well as municipal level.
In the second step, the article attempts to cluster them into distinct groups; indeed with the notion that any clustering or classification is subject to debate. Identified were five broad groups of factors having crucial impacts on spatial concentration of ethnic minorities.
