Students’ Knowledge about the Gravitational Assist

Abstract

The paper presents the results of two high school questionnaires about the gravitational assist. The lesson about that technique of spacecraft flights was prepared, students were given one questionnaire before the lesson and the other one after the lesson.

The paper also includes information about the gravitational assist and about the lesson. Several pictures from the lesson are attached.
