Abstract
The study occupies with the beginnings of Roman Catholic Faculty of Theology of Cyril and Methodius in Prague. It comes out from the brief recapitulation of course of events which then regards in the imminent ideological relations and finaly points at the problematic visions which often accompanies the term „persecution of Roman Catholic Church in Czech lands of the second half of 20th century,” which is the context of these events.
