Cyclofructan-based chiral stationary phases were shown as a promising possibility for separation of chiral compounds in HPLC. In this work retention mechanisms of cyclofructan-based chiral stationary phases are described.
Additionally, the retention mechanism of dimethylphenyl-carbamate cyclofructan 7 was studied under the conditions of supercritical fluid chromatography. A linear free energy relationship model was utilized for characterization of retention interactions.
