Hot Topic in the field of COPD in 2013. Updating of COPD guidelines and New National Databasis of Severe COPD

Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is a serious global health and socio-economic burden. In the Czech Republic since 2013, the new diagnostic and treatment approach was established - for patients with stable disease stages.

At the same time (in 2013) COPD experts created a Multicenter Research Database of patients with severe degrees of COPD.
