Abstract
The article attempts to classify Czech compounds on the basis of Scalise-Bisetto´s typology (2005, 2009). The Czech compounds are here divided into coordinative, subordinative and attributive, splitting further into endocentric and exocentric structures.
The article proceeds to deal with special cases such as juxtapositions (or, compounds with internal inflection) and parasynthetic compounds.
