The paper is focused on students' attitudes towards chemistry with an emphasis on one of the main factor influencing them - subject matter. The authors of the paper present a part of results of a research conducted in 2012 on secondary school students (N = 595).
The respondents were provided a list of topics and assessed them according to their importance and difficulty. The study revealed both favourite and unpopular topics which may be used not only when revising the curriculum, but also in broader discursus about school chemistry content.
