Use of the Internet for the formation of cross-cultural competence at teaching Russian language

Abstract

The increase of cross-cultural communication and the need for the development of the cross-cultural competence are results of globalisation. This competence has therefore become one of key goals of learning and teaching foreign languages.

The paper deals with possibilities of the development of cross-cultural competence in teaching Russian by means of the Internet. It also analyzes selected electronic sources and focuses on practical examples of their use.
