Abstract

This publication engages selected chapters from strategic personal management with emphasis on hotel industry and tourist industry services. It is designed for hotel and tourist industry destinations managment, students of management and evrybody who is interested in human resources management.

The first part is focused on connection between strategic HR management, i. E. personal planning and human resources development.

The issue of Elearning in company training occupies significant space in this part. The scond part covers the issue of feedback in personal management and personal risks – their sources, consequences and managing.

Considering the increasing level of computer processing in personal administration and the attention paid to the protection of privacy and personal data, the book contains also chapters regarding personal information systems, identification camera monitoring systems and their use from the HR management´s point of view as well as from the standpoint of legal personal data protection. In practice, the present of big hotel companies is characterized, besides other things, by the existence of multicultural working teams – from top management to employes in particular units.

Fowr present managers knowledge of differences between human cultures just as risks which may occur during team work is necessary. These questions are covered in the third chapter of the book.
