Abstract
Active learning is an integral part of education now not only for general educational institutions but also for schools with a specific focus. Nursing schools education builds primarily on direct contact with the students clinical practice and it is often neglected equally important theoretical part of the training taking place in classrooms.
Unfortunately, there are still numerous representatives in the ranks of educators who teach nursing courses only traditional (frontal) way. This allowance has therefore to outline the effective usage of modern activation methods in nursing education, clearly demonstrate selected methods, and is primarily intended for interested practitioners.
