Abstract

Traditional, intuitive conceptions of concepts and their shortcomings are summarised first. We pose five worrisome questions, answering which becomes extremely important when we want to build ontologies of particular domains of interest, to 'conceptualise' them and to perform a terminological classification, which should be used for an intelligent search in the huge amount of data on web pages.

Since traditional, set-theoretical concept theories do not answer these questions in a satisfactory way, we introduce a new non-traditional theory of concepts. A concept is explicated by the key notion of Transparent intensional logic logical construction, i.e. structured procedure.
