Prosperity in a whirlpool of symbolic contexts: Some Notes on Tibetan gyang ‘gugs and Buryat dalga rituals

Abstrakt

The paper analyses both rituals, which should bring “abundance”, and the basic concepts linked with them, the symbol of the bow, the mythological sources and the transfer of a non-Buddhist ritual into the Buddhist milieu.
