'Kunstverein or Künstlerverein?' The movement of artists in Prague between 1830-1856

Abstract

After 1830 in Prag voices calling for foundation of a Kunstverein emerged, mediating a modern form of contacts between the artist and the public, which was not achieved by traditional institutions of art.
