On the Role of the Languages of Adjacent States and the Languages of Ethnic Minorities in Multilingual Europe: the Case of the Czech Republic

Abstract

The Czech Republic borders Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Poland. From the point of view of the Czech Republic and the Czech language, its adjacent languages therefore include German, Slovak and Polish.
