Mitochondrial-type iron-sulfur cluster biosynthesis genes (IscS and IscU) in the apicomplexan Cryptosporidium parvum

Abstract

Findings suggest that the previously identified mitochondrial relict of C. parvum may have been retained by the parasite as an intracellular site for [Fe?S] assembly.
