Abstract

Article summarizes the outcomes of Ph.D. thesis. This thesis deals with performance appraisal in a context of Work and Organization Psychology.

Described are definitions, wider context, performance management, performance evaluation steps and implementation of evaluating system. Empirical part deals with data on currently used performance evaluation systems in Czech Republic.
