Several comments on the so called North-Central Romani in the perspective of the contemporary efforts to standardize Romani and codify its spelling

Abstract

The article briefly outlines some issues related to the standardization of the so-called Slovakian Romani and the codification of its spelling. It focuses primarily on the unsatisfactory level of knowledge in the Romani dialectology, resulting in numerous difficulties associated with the process of creating a language standard and its introduction in the practical life.
