Comparison of new oral anticoagulants from the perspective of pharmacological features and clinical trials

Abstract

In last few years, three new oral anticoagulants were registered. They can replace effective, but problematic warfarin.

It is an inhibitor of factor Xa - xabans (apixaban and rivaroxaban) and thrombin inhibitor gatran - dabigatran etexilate.
