Abstrakt
Authors are dealing with the issue of accession of the Eastern European countries to the Protocol of 1997 from the point of view of the powers of the European Union to urge such a step. Most recently, the efforts of the European Union to achieve certain stage of uniformity of the nuclear liability regime resulted into a resolution to support a wider accession of the Eastern European states to the Protocol of 1997.
This article deals with presenting the current situation as regard to the nuclear liability framework in the European Union.
