Abstract

Tha chapter presents one of the possible approaches to assessing ICC of students (future teachers) of English as a foreign language and its practical application together with the obtained outcomes. Assessing ICC is a challenge for practicing teachers as well as researchers; especially the need to assess ICC in its complex character.

She inclines to the opinion that ICC assessment should have its place in the process of its development.
