Chapter shows how teachers consider parents of pupils, cooperation between school and family, and their role in school achievements. Based on analysis of interviews with teachers we can conclude that school success of child is contingent on home preparation for lessons.
Teachers emphasize four factors with crucial role for school achievements: talent, practise, knowledge of algoritm and attitude toward math. Family background is important for each of them.
Teachers need to define the ways how parents should be involved in education thus those ways would be in correspondance with school education. Teachers want parents to support the authority of school and make children to follow school requirements.
Most teachers see homeworks as important and neccessary so they criticize trend education withou homeworks.
