The positive column of DC oxygen glow discharge is investigated with techniques of computational physics. One dimensional continuous model of H-form in pure oxygen is developed and model is applied to a middle pressure discharge (423 Pa) and a result is compared with a measurement.
The model is build on the fluid description and drift-diffusion approximation of particle flux. The mean-electron-energy approximation is used for treatment of the reactions rates and electron transport coefficients.
Radial profile of the concentration and flux of species in the discharge tube were calculated as a result of the simulation.
