This paper is divided into two parts. The first one, which is based on a questionnaire distributed among legal professionals, is an analysis of the problems the graduates have to tackle in the early stages of their careers and their subjective evaluation of the language tuition at law schools.
The second part is a comparison of teaching in lawfirms, i.e. small groups or one-to-one lessons, and the instruction in large groups at The Faculty of Law of the Charles University.
