The article presents selected results from an international project AAA-Prevent which analyzes alcohol consumption among juveniles in 25 European countries which were involved in ISRD-2 study (2006). First, differences in the level of alcohol consumption and its patterns are described across these countries.
Secondly, the possibilities of multilevel modeling approach to the analysis of different effect of risk factors on alcohol consumption among countries are shown and discussed making use of an example of the relationship between self-control and juvenile risky alcohol consumption.
