The pious donations of the Czech nobility in the 1st half of the 14th century as a means of preserving memory

Abstract

The article deals with the phenomenon of pious donations made by the nobility to the Church in the Czech lands during the first half of 14th century. The donations to the Church protect the social memory of the donor.

Donations were also a way of representation.
