Abstract
The aim of the Ph.D. thesis is a reflection of Islamic culture within Euro-Mediterranean multi-cultural dialogue. It provides analyses of "end of history" (F.
Fukuyama) and "clash of civilizations" (S. Huntington), history of Barcelona Process and Anna Lindh Foundation, and analysis of "Orientalism" in European and Czech culture.
It deals with Arab and Muslim Community in Europe and in the Czech Republic based on interviews with its members, and with non-govermment organizations like Czech-Arab Society.
