Action for injunction as a tool for enforcing the rights of consumers in the Czech Republic and Hungary
Abstrakt
The impact of actions for injunctions to individual consumers is difficult to determine, but even so, you can claim for injunctive considered as a successful tool for correcting market. Despite efforts to implement Directive 98/27/EC in relation to actions for injunction and in relation to the protection of consumer interests some harmonization at Community level, the solutions differ in the Member States and the legal consequences of authorized institutions.
This article, after a brief presentation of the different systems of consumer protection in the two countries studied examines the extent varies to enforce the collective interests of consumers in Hungary, compared with the model of Czech Republic. Furthermore, the article deals with the promotion of the general interests of consumers in relation to actions for injunctions.
