Abstract
The book deals with crucial period of Czech history between 1939–1949. It is based on research by scientists from many different humnanistic disciplines.
The chapter mentioned above shows how Czech discourse of the time were occupied by themes like „Czechness“, „folk art“, and „modern art“.
