This chapter from the collective monograph deals with a remarkable episode in the evolution of the Agrarian League in the Bohemian Lands in the first decades of the 20th century, expressing its efforts to create supranational networks linking in the individual countries isolated movements on a German platform. It documents how the initially ambitious and relatively strong movement developing in the Bohemian Lands was losing support on the international scene and, at length, in its own party, which departed within the Czechoslovak political system from its traditional radical nationalism to espouse pragmatic political activism.
