Late Antique fine ware dishes with indeted rim in Bactria. Diffusion or evolution?

Abstract

The paper deals with a specific significant group of fine ware pottery in Bactria / Tokharistan, clearly defined by its shape, fabric and function. The pottery shape in question was manufactured in 3rd-4th c.

AD and its origin is linked to some western prototypes, be it Roman or Parthian ones.
