Abstract

The aim of this paper is to compare the framework educational programs for schools in the Czech and Slovak Republic, with emphasis on the field of biology. The main analytical categories of content analysis were: the key competencies, fields of education, educational in biology and cross-curricular themes dominated by biological aspect.

In the above-mentioned categories we were focused on the representation of the biological skills.
