Selected theories of learning and their projections into the use of ICT in the mathematics education

Abstract

The present monograph is devoted to the use of ICT in mathematics education. It focuses mainly on the impact of our understanding of the learning process on the way how technologies are applied in teaching process.

Five major theories (behaviorism, structuralism, Kognitivismu, constructivism and connectivism) are described and their impact is discussed.
