Abstract
The Chapter „Hyperhomocysteinaemia“submits an overview of classification, structure, and metabolism of homocysteine. Moreover, homocysteine metabolism regulation, as well as preanalytical conditions, genetic, and biochemical methods used for homocysteine analysis are described.
Furthermore, there are described definition, diagnostics and cause of Hyperhomocysteinaemia, relationships of hyperhomocysteinaemia to cardiovascular disease and others disorders.
