Schizophrenia (SCH) is a chronic psychiatric disorder which often leads to a social and functional impairment (Jablensky,2010). Such social and functional impairment is associated with cognitive dysfunctions (CD) which are present in about 75-85 % of the patients (Reichenberg,2006).

Pharmacological treatments has not showed reliable results on the efficacy of CD treatment (Desamericque et al.,2013). Nonpharmacological treatments can be a good enhancement for pharmacological.

CD in SCH can be positively influenced by cognitive remediation, and by complex rehabilitation programs with cognitive add remediation (McGurk et al.,2007; Wykes et al.,2011). The aim of the study was to follow the improvement of learning abilities after cognitive remediation.

Learning abilities are important part of functional and social outcome. We conducted comprehensive research involving two different approaches – cognitive remediation and psychosocial daily complex care program with cognitive add remediation.
