"Whan it comes to poverty one woman can do do far more than all men." Poverty and gender according to Czech socialists

Abstract

A paper deals with the link between a decomposition of imagination of separated spheres and establishment of a welfare state (compulsory sickness and accident insurance). Because of that, the Czech socialist women could start to publicly criticize the politics concerning the poverty and to demand their own engagement in that matter.
