Abstract
Chapter in a monograph deals with evolution of St. Cyril and Methodius iconography in Bohemia from Middle Ages till 20th century.
It focuses on the age of Charles IV, when the cult of the saint brothers hanged together with the idea of Bohemian Kingdom as a heir of the Great Moravian Empire and with the legend about the origin of the Stará Boleslav Palladium, the creation of which was connected with the brothers.
