Abstract
The monograph deals with history and art decoration of the Sázava monastery from the beginning till the end of the 18th century. A special chapter is devoted to the historical and artistic monuments in the vicinity of the monastery.
Part of the monograph is a study of the life of St. Prokop and its iconography.
