Publication at Faculty of Education |
2013

Abstract

The text concerns with the influence of structuration of the undergraduate preparation of future teachers of non-specialized subjects at secondary schools on the subjective perception of their professional readiness. The theoretical starting points are the key concepts and approaches of the process termed "becoming a teacher".

A survey was carried out at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Charles University in Prague in the years 2002 and 2012, with the aim to map and compare the opinions of teacher-trainees on the subjective perception of their professional readiness in the context of structured and unstructured model of studies. An integral part of the survey was a particular analysis of the professional motivational structure of future teachers.
