Abstract
The subject of the work is an analysis and interpretation of the changes of discipline of anthropology in the context of field research conducted in Melanesia. Particular attention is paid to the anthropological research projects and to the numerous cultures of Papua New Guinea.
The author’s work rests on the analysis of primary sources and also relies on his own field research experience gained during his study stay in Papua New Guinea.
