The depth of pupil’s understanding of mathematical concepts is determined by the amount and richness of the spectrum of their experience with the given concepts. The paper shows how pupils’ “stay” in the mathematical learning environment Bus can become the source of their experience with roles of numbers, with the operations of addition and subtraction and relations between numbers.
It also shows how this stay stimulates their further development. Our attention focuses on record of the process by 5-7 year old pupils and development of their written record in the direction of structuring relevant information using a chart.
