Abstract
A famous German Egyptologist and novelist Georg Ebers (1837-1898) was the author of huge descriptive work "Aegypten in Wort und Bild", which enjoyed a great popularity and was translated into Czech, as well as "Uarda" and "'Ägyptische Königstochter".
