Abstract
The chapter focuses on the topic of lie and its role in interpersonal relationships. It covers different situations and contexts of lying in interpersonal interaction (for example merciful lie, children's lie).
It also brings knowledge about different psychological processes that take part on creation of lie and influence its expression through nonverbal behavior. Nonverbal behavior is taken as a traditional way to observe and recognise lie.
