Abstract

The purpose of the study was to compare the morning and afternoon diurnal endurance in term of running endurance of young soccer players before the beginning of their preparatory period of the first training cycle 2009/2010 (n = 7, age = 13.2±0.3 years, height = 164.0±8.2 cm, weight = 54.3±7.0 kg). The morning and afternoon endurance was detected by the apparatus FITRONIC – FiTRO Light Gates.

The criteria of the assessment of the endurance was the time obtained in the distance of 30 m with the exactness 0,01 s. Differences between the morning and afternoon endurance of the individuals were recognised and defined by the individual expertise analysis.

Averaged endurance of analysed object were recognised and defined by the expertise analysis and statistical analysis. We have ascertained no significant differences between the endurance in the morning and the endurance in the afternoon when we were comparing the averaged morning and afternoon endurance of the object.

The afternoon endurance of the object represented 5.29±0.37 s and the afternoon endurance 5.28±0.24 s. The individual expertise analysis of the endurance has shown that four soccer players of the object have achieved relative maximum of the endurance in the morning and also in the afternoon.

One soccer player has obtained the maximum in the morning and two players in the afternoon.
