Being a Loyal Servant. Egypt and the Levant from the Perspective of Juridical Terminology of the 18th Dynasty

Abstrakt
It is the aim of this article to analyze the terminology used in Egyptian and Akkadian texts of the 15th-14th centuries BC to express loyalty of Levantine client kings towards the Egyptian overlord. Egyptian and Ancient Near Eastern legal traditions are discussed.
