Abstract
The article commemorates fifty years of existence of the journal Jazykovědné aktuality - the bulletin of the members of the Linguistic Association of the Czech Republic. It presents a reminder of the editors and editorial boards of the journal, as well as of the importance of the journal for the life and development of the Czech linguistic community.
The journal is something like a mirror of the changing ot generations, schools and directions in the Czech linguistic research.
