The European translation standard : Added value and an opportunity for the market

Abstract

The specific features of the EN 15038 standard are presented and they are compared to other norms, e.g. the specification called CEPRES. An outlook for the future of certification in this area is included as well as considerations as regards the situation on the market of translation services.
