Abstract
Master John of Rokycany, the elected archbishop of the Bohemian Utraquists, was a preacher in Prague´s Church of Our Lady before Týn. In his Bohemian postil he criticises incorrect approaches, thus helping us become familiar with the opinions of the preachers and the entire siciety on maintaining standards encouraged by John of Rokycany.
His approach is compared to that of several other European preachers of the 13th to 16the centuries.
